Works great so far

I settled on this Phiestina 46 bottle dual zone wine fridge after searching the internet for dual zone units. The price is on the low side compared to others, but definitely not the cheapest. The unit looks good, the led lighting looks really nice, and overall satisfied with appearance. However, I have two issues. One, the upper zone (for white wine) doesn't cool below 47 degF, even when the setpoint is left at 40 degF for days. I verify this with my own dial thermometer. The white wines are still fine at 47 degF, but it's disappointing the fridge does cool to 40 as advertised. Secondly, the unit is bit louder than I expected. Typically, the compressor runs for about 5-10 minutes and then idles for about 15-20 minutes. When the compressor is running, the sound is louder than I'd like, but it's not loud enough to send the thing back for a refund, so I guess we'll keep it. I suppose buying this fridge around the $700 price point, you get what you pay for.. perhaps the more costly models aren't as loud, but not sure that's worth the additional cost...

I'm adding the following details to clarify a few things that were still objectively hazy at the time of my purchase.

First, the noise level of this unit is substantially lower than a similar form factory Vinotemp unit that this unit replaced. It is basically inaudible.

Second, the temperature of the refrigerator I have simply does not deviate from the setting you specify.

Finally, if you're looking for a refrigerator that is able to handle large format bottles, this one will without removal of valuable drawer space. The third drawer from the top has enough clearance to accommodate at least 3 bottles, however, if you do this that's all you'll get into that drawer.

It works and looks great and fits perfectly behind our bar. It was easy to set up. I searched for the perfect fit and really wanted the dual temperature but didn't want to spend a fortune.

Cooler arrived exactly as ordered. This wine cooler is medium capacity, and medium priced. Mine is extraordinarily quiet. It just sits there, looking beautiful, and works. Temperatures are maintained precisely without subsequent adjustment. The unit is somewhat heavy, but does not require any additional equipment to move it about. Naturally, it's substantially more heavy now that it is filled with wine. Bottles may have to be adjusted in their racks if one wants to achieve maximum capacity. Bottles with large bottoms (like some roses and many effervescent wines) will require some exploration as to where they will fit, but so far, everything does fit.
